Responsibilities include decorating, maintaining display quality, guiding Apprentices, and adhering to food-safety standards. A flexible schedule, ability to lift 50 lbs, and prior bakery/retail experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Efficient cake and pastry decorating skills with intermediate piping techniques.
• Understanding color theory for buttercream color blending.
• Ability to apply multiple icing types and decorate accordingly.
• Follow recipes and procedures with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fill, and finish/decorate cakes, tarts, and specialty items.
• Build, ice, and decorate cakes following standard procedures.
• Prioritize production lists and adjust as needed.
• Merchandise products and maintain display case quality.
• Provide guidance to Apprentices and team members.
• Create special order cake designs per customer preferences.
