Job summary

Smith Teamaker, LLC is seeking Tasting Room Attendants for our Portland Airport location during the holiday season. Shifts include early mornings, mid days, and evenings, with weekend work common. Pay is $18 per hour plus tips.

You’ll deliver warm, knowledgeable guest service, craft beverages and food items, maintain a clean space, handle POS transactions, and follow safety standards. Experience in customer service preferred; OLCC certifications desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, café, retail, or hospitality roles.
• Strong communication and guest engagement skills.
• Ability to learn product knowledge quickly.
• Reliable and professional in prior roles.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Valid Food Handler’s and OLCC certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Enthusiasm for Smith Teamaker culture and guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and a customer-first attitude.
• Engage guests with product recommendations and tea education.
• Act as a concierge for local businesses and attractions.
• Provide clear, informed answers about products and offerings.
• Operate the POS system and handle transactions accurately.
• Maintain health, sanitation, and safety standards on shift.
• Support overtime, events, and occasional demos as needed.
