Job summary

Smith Teamaker, LLC is seeking Tasting Room Attendants for NW 23rd in Portland, OR, for the holiday season. Shifts run 8 am–8 pm with both full-time and part-time opportunities and some weekend availability.

You will welcome guests, educate on tea, prepare beverages and foods, and ensure a clean, safe space while using a POS system for transactions. Ideal candidates have customer service experience, strong communication, ability to learn products quickly, and a positive, reliable attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, café, retail, food service, or hospitality roles.
• Strong communication skills and an authentic desire to engage with guests.
• Ability to learn quickly and retain product and recipe knowledge.
• Demonstrated reliability and professionalism in previous roles.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted and remain on feet for extended periods.
• Valid Food Handler’s and OLCC certifications (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and a customer-first attitude.
• Engage guests in product recommendations, tea education, and menu guidance.
• Prepare handcrafted beverages and food items per Smith Teamaker specs.
• Operate POS system for transactions and maintain cash handling accuracy.
