Eataly Chicago is hiring a Pastry Cook to transform high-quality ingredients into Italian pastries, reporting to the Pastry Sous Chef and Pastry CDC. You will follow recipes, maintain quality, and ensure health regulations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires on-site availability with a flexible schedule often including evenings and weekends, lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing for long periods. Compensation is $20.00/hour with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a pastry preparation position.
• Basic math and measuring skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program preferred.

Responsabilités

• Follows recipes and complies with portion sizes, quality standards, department rules and procedures, and Department of Health regulations.
• Washes and cleans all utensils, preparation equipment and counters required for production.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
