Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Miami seeks a Meat Cutter to cut, prepare, and merchandise beef, pork, and other meats while delivering friendly, efficient service. You will follow safe handling procedures and assist in training Meat Cutter Trainees to uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• 14+ months of retail experience or equivalent.
• Completion of WFM Butcher Apprentice Program or equivalent.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, platters, and merchandises beef, pork, lamb, veal, and poultry.
• Prepares specialty meat products and ensures quality.
• Maintains sampling programs and monitors spoilage.
• Mentors Meat Cutter Trainees and supports team.
• Provides courteous customer service and assists with pricing.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures; cleans as required.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and reports hazards.
