Responsibilities include decorating to standard procedures, maintaining cleanliness, training apprentices, managing production lists, and ensuring proper signage and pricing. A flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, is expected.

Qualifications

• Efficient cake and pastry decorating skills with intermediate piping techniques.
• Ability to blend colors and coordinate palettes for decorating.
• Ability to follow recipes and procedures with good time management.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fill, and finish/decorate cakes, tarts, select pastry, and special-order bakery items.
• Build, ice, and decorate cakes to meet business demand and maintain records.
• Prioritize production lists and adjust as needed.
• Merchandise and showcase products in the sales display case and monitor freshness.
• Provide guidance and support for Bakery Decorator Apprentices and other Team Members.
• Create special order cake designs based on customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle phones promptly.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment and follow safety standards.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties with pricing accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
