Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in Watchung, NJ is seeking a dependable Baker to produce high-quality cakes according to NbC recipes and safety standards. You will operate commercial ovens, measure ingredients precisely, and help maintain clean, organized workstations.

You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and follow health guidelines. Prior bakery experience is a plus; training is provided. Flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Bakery/foodservice experience is a plus.
• Willing to work varied shifts (early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Follows recipes, packaging, labeling, and health & safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Follow NbC recipes and production methods with precision to meet productivity goals.
• Operate commercial-grade mixers, ovens, and other bakery equipment.
• Prepare raw ingredients and equipment; monitor baking process.
• Maintain proper packaging, labeling, and storage; log baking and refrigeration data.
• Assist Bakery Manager with production planning and inventory monitoring.
• Evaluate ingredients and baked products for NbC quality standards and report issues.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and orderly workstation for next shift.
• Adhere to health and safety rules, dress code, and NbC policies.
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
