Job summary

The Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Baker to ensure high-quality cakes and reliable service. This role follows NbC recipes and production methods, uses industrial ovens and mixers, and contributes to efficient workplace operations.

Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, monitoring bake times, packaging, labeling and safeguarding health and safety standards, while supporting the bakery manager with stock and production planning. Dependability and punctuality are essential.

Qualifications

• Understanding written recipes and health and safety rules.
• Ability to interpret measurements and operating procedures.
• Attention to precise timing and quantities in a fast-paced bakery.
• Experience in bakery or foodservice is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow NbC recipes and production methods to meet productivity goals.
• Operate ovens, mixers and bakery tools safely.
• Prepare ingredients and equipment, monitor baking process.
• Package, label and store baked cakes per standards and logs.
• Support bakery manager with production planning and stock monitoring.
• Evaluate ingredients and cakes for NbC quality standards and report issues.
• Maintain clean, stocked workstations and prep for next shift.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines, dress code and hygiene.
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
