Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in Matthews, NC seeks a reliable Baker to produce high-quality cakes daily. You will follow NbC recipes, operate ovens and mixers, prepare ingredients, and ensure cleanliness and safety. This role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

You will support the Bakery Manager with production and inventory duties, while maintaining logs and timely deliveries of freshly baked goods.

Qualifications

• Experience in bakeries or foodservice is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow recipes precisely.

Responsibilities

• Follow NbC recipes and production methods with precision to meet goals.
• Use measuring tools, mixers and ovens to bake cakes.
• Prepare ingredients and equipment, place pans in hot ovens and monitor the bake.
• Pack, label, store pastries and maintain logs.
• Assist Bakery Manager with production planning and inventory.
• Evaluate ingredients and finished cakes for quality and report issues.
• Clean and restock workstation, prep for next shift.
• Follow health and safety rules, dress code, and hygiene guidance.
• Maintain punctuality and reliable attendance.
