Deschutes Brewery Bend Public House seeks a part-time Baker to craft handcrafted breads and pastries in a fast-paced kitchen. Prior commercial baking experience with artisan breads is required, and candidates must be able to work early morning shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial baking experience with artisan breads and/or pastry.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mix ingredients to shape breads, rolls, and desserts.
• Weigh materials to ensure appropriate quantity.
• Cut and mold dough into equal parts for uniform batches.
• Ensure correct quantities of batches are made.
• Maintain storage of baking utensils and supplies.
• Keep baking equipment clean and maintained.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Oversee cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment.
