Job summary

The Eat Shop in the United States is seeking a dedicated Baker (Full Time) to support daily production and bake a wide variety of items per the production schedule. You will craft, decorate and finish products while upholding quality standards and safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to work flexible hours including weekends, with reliable transportation and strong communication with teammates and customers alike.

Qualifications

• Must have experience baking a variety of items at home or in a commercial setting
• Must be detail-oriented and able to concentrate in fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in cross functional roles as needed (back of house and front of house)
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to build relationships and communicate effectively with customers and teammates
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed

Responsibilities

• Manage production and prepare a wide variety of standard and custom baked goods according to The Eat Shop's approved recipes
• Mix, bake, build, decorate and inscribe products in an efficient manner (as applicable)
• Ensure all food is prepared, handled and stored according to all required food safety code standards
• Safely operate and maintain bakery equipment
• Communicate effectively with customers and teammates
• Perform well in a fast-faced environment
• Collaborate will with teammates
• Maintain a clean and sanitary baking area
• Open and close the bakery as assigned
