Job summary

Shaw’s and Star Market in Brunswick, ME is seeking a dedicated Baker to prepare breads, pastries, cakes and desserts using established recipes and methods. You will measure, mix, shape, bake, and decorate items to ensure consistent quality and presentation.

Throughout the day you’ll keep a clean, organized workstation, rotate and label ingredients, and help create a positive customer experience by answering questions and fulfilling special orders in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in baking or food production preferred.
• Ability to provide friendly, timely customer service.
• Follow recipes accurately to maintain quality and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and production area.
• Understand food safety practices and safe handling.
