Hilcorp Energy Company is seeking an experienced Lease Operator Assistant to support artificial lift systems across multiple wells in Texas. The role involves selecting candidates, installing and configuring mechanical, I&E, and SCADA equipment, and optimizing operations with SCADA data analysis.

The position requires a minimum of three years in oilfield work, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years minimum oilfield experience required.
• Currently working full time or contract for Hilcorp Energy preferred.
• Ability to work established work schedule.
• Requires less supervision in the performance of routine duties.

Responsabilités

• Assist in selecting artificial lift candidate wells.
• Assist in installation and setup of equipment (mechanical, I&E, SCADA).
• Trend SCADA data and communicate with operators to optimize artificial lift wells.
• Design artificial lift systems including necessary downhole and surface equipment.
• Manage, report, and track maintenance of all artificial lift equipment.
• Provide routine service and maintenance schedules to operators and contractors.
• Perform regular field troubleshooting of artificial lift and surface equipment with operators.
• Update wellbore schematics as necessary with equipment changes.
• Promote and implement new technologies and techniques to enhance well performance.
• Train Lease Operators in all aspects of well optimization as it pertains to artificial lift.
• Adhere to all Health, Safety, & Environmental programs.
• Shut down equipment, following supervisor’s instructions, in case of an emergency.
• May be required to work multiple fields.
