Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a New Product Development Engineer II for Orthopaedics, to be based in Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Raynham, MA. Work on arthroscopic visualization hardware, including arthroscopes, cameras, tubing, powered blades, and related components.

Lead cross-functional teams, drive timelines, and manage budgets while delivering innovative, minimally invasive medical devices. The role includes on-the-job and classroom training, opportunities to grow within DePuy Synthes, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge of Good Documentation and Manufacturing Practices.
Proficiency in CAD software, especially Creo & Windchill.
Strong written and spoken communication, able to call out issues promptly.

Responsibilities

Support and implement technical projects that advance product development and value creation for DePuy Synthes.
Collaborate with multi-functional teams, external consultants, and suppliers across development and manufacturing.
Own and drive project execution with timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation.
Provide engineering, specifications, and documentation as required.
Collaborate with internal and external manufacturers; develop mechanisms and sub-assemblies.
