Job summary

• Knowledge of studio equipment operation, setup, and safety procedures.
• Basic skills in art equipment maintenance and care.
• Knowledge of various artistic media (sculpture, ceramics, painting, drawing, photography).
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory of art supplies and materials.
• Clean and organize the lab and studios.
• Order supplies as needed to support classes.
• Maintain records of hazardous waste and MSDS sheets.
• Set up, test, and operate studio equipment for classes.
• Assist instructors and students during class and open studio time.
• Direct student workers and coordinate their duties.
• Assist Gallery Coordinator with gallery space management.
