Job summary

College of DuPage is seeking a part-time Art Studio Aide to assist in cleaning and maintaining art studios and supporting students in media areas such as drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, and design.

The Student Worker eligibility requires enrollment in courses, a 2.0 GPA, and, if eligible for Federal Work Study, employment under that program. The role pays $15.00 per hour and offers exposure to a bustling studio environment.

Qualifications

• COD student who has taken studio art courses
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Enrolled in at least 6 credit hours Fall/Spring or 1 credit hour Summer
• Cumulative GPA 2.0 or above
• Federal Work Study eligibility enables hire under that program

Responsibilities

• Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of art studios
• Perform cleaning and non-specialized maintenance duties
• Assist in operation and organization of the art studios across media (drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, design)
• Responsibilities include cleaning, mopping, organization of tools and supplies, and other maintenance duties
