Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Art or related field or equivalent experience.
• Advanced knowledge of studio equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Basic maintenance skills for art equipment.
• Familiarity with sculpture, ceramics, painting, drawing, and photography.
• Knowledge of art studio materials and techniques.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain and operate assigned Art Department studios.
• Maintain inventory and organize lab spaces; order supplies.
• Ensure safe handling of solvents and hazardous materials; manage waste records.
• Assist instructors and students during class and open studio times.
• Direct student workers and support gallery activities as needed.
