Job summary

BLICK Art Materials is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead their store team, drive sales growth, and uphold top-tier customer service within the Blick community.Responsibilities include training staff on experience standards in retail and framing, supporting the Custom Services desk, and assisting the production team as needed.

The role requires leadership, a strong sales background, and the ability to build relationships with artists and influencers, while partnering with the General Manager

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year retail management experience or 1 year employment with Blick.
• Demonstrated superior sales performance.
• Proficient with MS Word and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales volume and uphold customer service standards.
• Train on and set experience standards in retail and framing.
• Provide customer service at the Custom Services desk.
• Assist the Custom Services production team as needed.
• Partner with the General Manager to build relationships with artists and art influencers.
• Direct and oversee the overall operations of the store.
