Job summary

Rock-It Company is seeking an Operations Coordinator in New York City to join a fast-paced logistics team serving fine art, live events, and luxury goods clients. The role involves coordinating complex schedules, budgets, and transit arrangements while ensuring compliance with export/import procedures and TSA regulations.

The position offers an hourly pay range of $25.00 to $28.75, with after-hours and weekend support as needed, and a benefits suite designed for long-term growth and work-life

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics, schedules, budgets, and payments with customers, vendors, colleagues, agents, and others.
• Prepare estimates and project budgets.
• Research transport schedules and routing options and present recommendations.
• Advise on packing solutions for fine art; book airfreight with airlines or steamship lines.
• Understand export/import procedures and US customs requirements.
• Prepare export documentation such as AWBs, packing lists, and delivery orders.
• Obtain documents for US customs entries and TSA compliance awareness.
• Assist with TSA, permitting, and regulatory coordination as needed.
• Prepare and submit invoices for services; provide live documentation support at JFK.
