Weber State University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Instructor of Art position starting July 1, 2027. The successful candidate will teach General Education and Foundations courses and serve as Concurrent Enrollment Liaison, with duties split roughly 60% teaching, 25% CE oversight, and 15% scholarship or service.

Formación

• MFA in Visual Art, Design, Visual Studies, or a related field of study.
• Experience teaching at the university level.
• Preferred: capacity to respond in pedagogically productive ways to the learning needs of all students is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Teach 8 to 11 credit hours (three courses) each Fall and Spring semester in General Education and Foundations courses; studio courses as needed.
• Oversee Concurrent Enrollment (CE) high school instructors, including annual evaluation and mentorship.
• Participate in faculty self-governance through service.
