Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, invites applications for a full-time tenure-track assistant professor in Printmaking. The candidate will teach across the Printmaking sequence and support a vibrant studio environment within the DOVAD.

Begin July 1, 2027, with a starting salary of $60,000 and a generous benefits package. The role requires a terminal degree in Printmaking or related field, with ABD considered if progress is complete by July 1, 2027, and at least two years of teaching

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in Printmaking or related field (ABD considered if degree completed by July 1, 2027).
• Two or more years of experience teaching printmaking.
• Experience managing a fully-equipped printmaking lab for etching, lithography, relief, screen printing, letterpress, and photographic printmaking methods.

Responsabilités

• Teach introductory to upper-level Printmaking courses and DOVAD's Studio Foundations curriculum.
• Manage and maintain the printmaking studio and equipment.
• Contribute to curricular revision and innovation and support student career development.
• Engage in professional practice, exhibitions, lectures, and service to department and university.
