Responsibilities

  • Oversees the day-to-day workflow of the Department of Art, Art History & Design within the College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts (CFPCA).
  • Serves as the key contact for external constituents and for faculty and staff seeking assistance with university processes.
  • Supervise and participate in the processing of university paperwork including personnel, payroll, travel reimbursements, guest artists, awardees, and special guests.
  • Prepare class scheduling, coordinate scheduling, room changes, liaison to scheduling.
  • Supervise and coordinate clerical/technical staff, student assistants and temporary employees; assign tasks and develop standard procedures.
  • Maintain faculty and staff personnel files and departmental records; prepare departmental activity reports.
