About the role

We're looking for a collaborative and creative Art Director of our Good Store brand to be a part of our team here at DFTBA!

DFTBA makes and sells high-quality products to 1) help creators make a living and 2) support causes near and dear to our hearts. Every creator, every product, and every sale matters. We are currently looking for an Art Director with a passion for design and a eye for branding to act as the creative force driving our Good Store Brand.

The Good Store is home to intentionally sourced everyday products that bring purpose to everyday life, making each day extraordinary. As a philanthropic initiative where 100% of profits go to charity, Good Store combines thoughtful design with meaningful impact. We are currently looking for a Good Store Art Director with a bold creative vision and strong leadership skills to guide the visual direction of our brands and bring compelling ideas to life across every touchpoint.

What you'll do

• Lead creative direction for existing and new Good Store brands, ensuring alignment with DFTBA’s mission and values.
• Develop and execute creative strategies that enhance brand recognition, engagement, and growth across multiple channels.
• Oversee brand consistency through the creation and maintenance of guidelines and high-quality visual assets (website, packaging, social media, blog, etc.).
• Guide and collaborate with the Marketing & Website Manager to ensure cohesive Good Store branding and messaging.
• Partner with the Good Store General Manager on creative brand development from concept to launch, and manage the creative budget effectively.
• Work cross-functionally with purchasing, marketing, and finance teams to align creative initiatives with business goals.

Qualifications

• 3 years as an Art Director or equivalent experience required, including an exceptional portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects, including branding, digital design, product design, and marketing collateral.
• 3 years previous project management experience.
• Highly proficient in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
• Strong brand awareness in regard to creative design.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to think strategically and creatively, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency with project management software such as Google Drive, Asana, Trello, and/or Airtable
• Experience with motion graphics, preferred.

Supervisory Position: No

Location : Remote, US-Based

Starting Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 per year, DOE

This position is eligible for inclusion in the DFTBA Workers Union bargaining unit.All offers are contingent upon a background check via Checkr.
