Job summary

Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) invites applications for the CACP: Creative Engagement Program Assistant with Little Brothers, Friends of the Elderly in Boston. The schedule is 6-8 hours per week at a rate of $15 per hour, with in-person programming at partner sites in Boston.

The role supports CitySites, Creative Connections, and Gen2GenQ programs, developing art activities, coordinating volunteers, and maintaining materials.

Qualifications

• Interest in working with older adults and building connections in the community.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and writing), creative, outgoing and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with older adults in senior buildings or centers.
• Develop curricula and manage art supply inventory.
• Design monthly recruitment flyers via Canva and promotional materials.
• Handle attendance, surveys, and resident recruitment; administer site tasks.
• Take photos and create content for social media campaigns.
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
