Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology and advanced registry in Mammography within six months of hire.
• BLS required.
• Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA and ARRT approved program in Radiologic Technology; MQSA training as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient ID armband and validate identity.
• Review mammography history and correlate prior exams to ensure correct study.
• Perform digital imaging acquisition and ensure image quality and proper archiving.
• Evaluate image quality and consult radiologist as needed.
• Assist radiologist during procedures and maintain sterile technique for supplies.
