Job summary

Caesars Entertainment is seeking a friendly, team-oriented server to greet guests, take and enter orders, and deliver food and beverages in a fast-paced casino restaurant environment. You will coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.

Flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights and weekends, is essential. The role requires at least one year of food and beverage service experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to communicate

Qualifications

  • One-year food and beverage service experience required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Knowledge of beers, wines, liquors and their recipes preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests when known, ensuring they feel welcome and valued.
  • Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the computer system.
  • Expedite drink orders from bar to customer and serve meals timely.
  • Clear and reset tables; assist teammates as needed.
  • Handle guest concerns and resolve with or without management assistance.

Job Summary
  • Team members willparticipatein all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions.
  • Must be able toget alongwith co-workers and work as a team.
  • Greetsand occasionally seats guest by their namewhenknown andmakesthem feel welcome and special.
  • Writesdown food and beverage orders.
  • Entersorder into computer system,expeditesdrink order frombarandservesto customer;picksup food orders from kitchen area andservesto customers.
  • Performs routine server station work such as preparing toast, dressing salads, ladling soup forguest’sorders,etc.
  • Deliver table set-ups with food order and clears away ina timelymanner.
  • Assistother servers and serverassistantsas necessary.
  • Clearsandcleanstables and work area as needed.
  • Performs all side work as assigned.
  • Ensuresbreakdown of station at end of shift along with daily cleaning tasks.
  • Has complete knowledge of menu,pricesand drink recipes.
  • Wearsproper attire in a neatly groomed fashion according to unit standards.
  • Handles and solves any concerns and questions customers may have.
  • Takesresponsibility for handling guest complaints, resolving with or without managementassistance.
  • Prepares and deliverscheckstoguest, processes guest payment forguestat the table and closescheck incomputersystemin a timely manner.
  • Givesguests a warm farewell when theyare leaving.
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policy as management may direct
  • Ability to read, write,speakand understand English.
  • Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance.
  • Must be able toworka varied schedule including holidays, nights and weekends as needed.
  • Must be able to work a reasonable amount of overtime whenrequired.
  • All team members will follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy. It is the expectation that every team member, front or back of house, should proactively seek out opportunities to greet guests and their fellow team members daily. EGE policy states teams members should: acknowledge guests and fellow team members within 10 feet; initiate friendly verbal greeting within 5 feet; keep your head up, look around ("head on a swivel"); look for opportunities to greet guests and others; please remember that when you are on the floor, you are “on stage”.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
How You Will Create the Extraordinary
  • Must be able to work and maneuver in acloseor small working environment duringentireshift.
  • Mustbe able to accesskitchenarea when picking up food orders and maneuver to and from duringentireshift.
  • Must be able to lift heavy trays with food above shoulder level.
  • Mustbe able to write customer orders legibly.
  • Must be able to tolerate hot temperatures when in kitchen areas.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel andlift upto 50lbs during assigned shift.
  • Mustpossessthe manual dexterity to complete required “side work”.
  • Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must be able to read, write,speakand understand English.
  • Must be ableto tolerateareascontainingsecondhandsmoke, high noise levels, brightlightsand dust.
What You Will Need
  • Must have one-yearpreviousfood and beverage service experience including large tray service required.
  • Casino restaurant experience is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of beers, wines,liquorsand their recipesrequired.
  • Must be able toinitiateand engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Must present a professional and pleasant appearance that guests will find appealing and approachablein order toengage in conversation.
  • Mustpossessexcellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of or familiarity with fine dining / steakhouse menus preferred.
  • Mustbe 21 years of age.
  • Mustbe able to work any day of the weekandany shift.
  • Must be able toget alongwith co-workers and work as a team.
