Job summary

The University of Vermont seeks an ARPA‑H Circle Program Administrator to lead administration for the university’s $38 million ARPA‑H CIRCLE award. You will oversee end‑to‑end program and financial management, subawards, budgets, and reporting across partner institutions, ensuring milestones are met and coordinated with senior leadership.

Responsibilities include liaising with the ARPA‑H Program Manager, ISO Coordinator, and SPA, while maintaining strict compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; 5–7 years in sponsored research or program administration.
• Experience with federal grant/contract or Other Transaction (OT) management.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interface with federal program staff, investigators, and collaborators.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑level, end‑to‑end program and financial administration for ARPA‑H CIRCLE.
• Manage subawards, budgets, effort administration, and program reporting for a multi‑institutional award.
• Coordinate with ARPA‑H Program Manager, ISO Coordinator, and the Office of Sponsored Programs Administration.
• Ensure milestones are met on schedule and collaborate with the PI, Department Administrator, and SPA.
