Job summary

KLA Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to join a patient-centered, community-based healthcare organization operating within a Patient Centered Medical Home model.

The ARNP collaborates with physicians, PAs and nursing staff to deliver high-quality, comprehensive care, performing advanced assessments, coordinating care and educating patients for self-management. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• ARNP degree or equivalent and WA licensure (RN/ARNP)
• Prescriptive authority in WA state required
• Experience in a broad primary care clinic setting required
• Strong nursing process knowledge: assessment, planning, implementation & evaluation
• Minor surgical techniques experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced clinical assessments and manage illnesses within ARNP scope
• Collaborate with physicians, PAs, ARNPs and nursing staff on patient care management
• Develop and implement individualized teaching plans for patient health
• Exercise independent clinical judgment using evidence-based data
• Maintain timely chart documentation (within 48 hours, 95% of the time)
• Complete fee slips with accurate diagnosis and procedure codes
• Meet productivity: minimum 3,400 encounters per year full-time
• Provide care coordination through daily huddles in PCMH model
• Identify at-risk populations and monitor panel health
• Educate patients for self-management and discharge planning
• Explain procedures and plans to patients prior to execution
• Participate in quality management, peer review and practice development
• Support clinical education of students and staff
• Maintain required annual trainings (HIPAA, Cultural Diversity, BBP, Sexual Harassment)

Education

Graduate of ARNP program

RN and ARNP licensure in Washington

Prescriptive authority (Washington State)

Experience in broad primary care clinic setting

Experience with minor surgical techniques (preferred)

Strong knowledge of nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
