Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL) is seeking a Supply Technician to manage daily receipt, inspection, storage, and processing of Army equipment turned in by units at a contractor-operated site. You will verify documentation and maintain accurate property records within Army systems.

The role covers inventory and storage management, cataloging, and assisting in the Army’s property accountability mission, while adhering to AR 710-2, DA PAM 710-2-1, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant work experience may substitute.
• Basic proficiency in English (reading and writing).
• Knowledge of Army logistical functions and supply operations.
• 2–4 years in logistics, warehousing, or supply (Army or contractor environment preferred).
• Familiarity with Army turn-in, supply or property accountability operations.

Responsibilities

• Process equipment and materiel turn-ins from Army units in accordance with AR 710-2 and related manuals.
• Verify turn-in documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct visual inspections and assign condition codes for serviceability.
• Maintain accountability of equipment and materials throughout the turn-in process.
• Support audits and property accountability reviews; assist with discrepancies.
