Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL) is seeking a Supply Technician to manage daily receipt, inspection, storage, and processing of Army equipment at a contractor-operated site. You will verify documentation, update property records, and support Army property accountability missions, with additional armorer duties.

You will handle turn-in & receiving operations, perform accuracy checks on forms, maintain records in Army logistics systems, and ensure safe storage and handling of equipment, including MHE

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant work experience acceptable.
• Basic English reading/writing skills.
• Knowledge of Army logistics functions is preferred.
• 2–4 years in logistics, warehousing, or supply in Army or contractor settings.
• Familiarity with Army turn-in, supply, or property accountability operations is desired.
• Experience with Army regulations and logistics systems is beneficial.
• MS Office proficiency for documentation and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Process equipment turn-ins from Army units per AR 710-2, AR 735-5, and DA PAM 710-2-1.
• Verify documentation (DA 1348-1A, DD Form 200, hand receipts) for accuracy.
• Conduct inspections and assign correct condition codes (A–H).
• Record entries in GCSS-Army, DPAS, and LMP; support reconciliations.
• Operate forklifts and other MHE; follow safety standards and hazmat rules.
• Coordinate with unit supply, QA, and transport for timely processing.
• Assist audits and property accountability reviews; maintain records.
