Job summary

Strategic Systems Programs in Washington, DC seeks a senior federal professional to lead arms control implementation and compliance initiatives. You will review actions from OPNAV, HQMC, JCS, OSW, and others, and craft recommended responses to ensure treaty adherence.

You will analyze treaty text to support U.S. negotiation positions, weapon systems impacts, and verification activities, while evaluating DON facilities and programs for compliance.

Qualifications

• : Provide expert level arms control implementation and compliance analysis of DON programs using NTIP ACI&C methodology, NCAP database, and applicable guidance.
• : Experience in arms control policy development and programmatic impact assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the review of actions from OPNAV, HQMC, JCS, OSW, and others and recommend responses.
• Perform and/or direct draft and final arms control treaty text analysis to support U.S. positions.
• Serve as a DON arms control treaty implementation expert and assess impacts on DON facilities, programs, and personnel.
• Coordinate field activity and contractor support to meet treaty objectives efficiently.
• Evaluate R&D, testing, and acquisition activities for treaty compliance.
• Develop and execute methods to analyze treaties as they apply to the DON lifecycle.
