Job summary

Delta Solutions & Strategies seeks a Military Operations Analyst – International Treaty Exercises to support the Air Force arms control treaty implementation, training, exercise design, and inspection-readiness in the National Capital Region.

You will plan, develop, execute, and evaluate tabletop and field exercises; create lesson plans, scenarios, injects, and training materials; coordinate with Headquarters Air Force and Major Commands; and provide expertise during inspections.

Qualifications

• More than 10 years of experience in military operations, arms control, or related field.
• Experience planning and executing military tabletop, command-post, field, or inspection-readiness exercises.
• Experience developing lesson plans, exercise scripts, scenarios, training materials, and post-event assessments.
• Experience instructing or facilitating military training and exercise events.
• Knowledge of DoD and USAF staff processes and organizational structures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Headquarters Air Force and Major Command staffs to develop a planning calendar for treaty-compliance exercises and training events.
• Plan, organize, instruct, and facilitate tabletop and field exercises.
• Develop draft lesson plans, exercise scripts, scenarios, injects, presentations, and supporting training materials.
• Coordinate exercise requirements, schedules, participants, facilities, and supporting resources.
• Provide technical, procedural, and operational expertise related to arms control treaty implementation and inspection readiness.
• Conduct hot-wash evaluations immediately following exercise and training events.
• Develop post-event evaluation reports, after-action reports, lessons learned, and recommended corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain Headquarters Air Force inspection-support documentation.
• Assist DoD organizations in preparing for treaty implementation exercises and real-world on-site inspections.
• Provide direct support to DoD staff during actual treaty inspections.
• Brief government leadership on exercise results, inspection readiness, identified risks, and recommended improvements.
