Job summary

Apogee seeks a Policy Analyst (Air Forces Central Command) to support HAF/A10 with arms control policy formulation, analysis, and dissemination. This full-time on-site role is based at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, SC, with responsibilities spanning policy development, treaty compliance, and interagency coordination.

The ideal candidate has ten years of relevant experience, active TS/SCI eligibility, and a bachelor’s degree, with DoD experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline; five (5) years of DoD experience required.

Responsibilities

• Policy Formulation & Dissemination: research and analyze policy and technical issues; advise on treaty negotiations and compliance.
• Implementation & Compliance: provide technical expertise on treaty implementation and compliance; assist in budgeting submissions.
• Exercise & Inspection Support: plan and manage annual exercises; assist units in preparing for inspections; provide on-site support.
• Education & Training: deliver AFCC-unique training materials; maintain change logs.
• Modernization & Acquisition: review programs with PEOs/SPOs for treaty impacts.
• Analysis & Research: produce treaty analysis papers and impact assessments.
• Conference & Meeting Support: handle logistics for AFCC conferences and meetings; prepare materials and minutes.
• Policy Analysis & Recommendation: provide formal comments and recommendations on Air Force policy and treaty matters.
• Interagency Liaison: liaison with DAF, DoW and interagency forums; represent AFCC in key meetings.
