Job summary

Apogee Engineering, LLC seeks a Policy Analyst (AFSOC) to provide full-time, on-site arms control subject-matter expertise to the USAF and DAF units, supporting policy formulation, development, and dissemination. The HAF/A10 contract delivers technical and analytical support across treaty-related activities at Hurlburt Field AFB in Florida.

This position is contingent on contract award and requires US citizenship, a TS clearance with SCI eligibility, a Bachelor's degree, and 12 years of related

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline; to include five (5) years of DoD experience.

Responsibilities

• Policy Formulation & Dissemination: conduct research and analysis to provide recommendations on treaty negotiations, implementation, and compliance.
• Implementation & Compliance: provide technical expertise on treaty implementation and compliance activities; support budgeting submissions; input notifications into ACES.
• Exercise & Inspection Support: plan, schedule, and manage annual exercise events; provide on-site assistance during exercises and inspections.
• Education & Training: deliver quarterly-reviewed USAFE-unique training materials with change log.
• Modernization & Acquisition: review and track acquisition programs for treaty compliance; advise PEOs/SPOs on treaty impacts.
• Analysis & Research: conduct detailed research to support USAFE positions; produce treaty analysis papers and impact assessments.
• Conference & Meeting Support: provide logistical support for USAFE conferences and meetings; prepare materials and minutes.
• Policy Analysis & Recommendation: conduct continuous research and provide formal comments and recommendations on policy and operations.
• Interagency Liaison: serve as primary liaison between USAFE and interagency forums; represent equities in CRGs, IWGs, etc.
