Job summary

Qualifications

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, visitors, and government transportation facility personnel while carrying out site-specific policies, security-related procedures, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, parking areas, vehicle access points, platforms, and surrounding perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity at assigned locations, reporting suspicious behavior and hazards according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations with calm problem-solving, coordinating with emergency responders and law enforcement as needed.
• Maintain armed post equipment and complete accurate reports, incident documentation, and shift logs per Allied Universal and site requirements.
