Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state of job location.
• Concealed carry weapons permit.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Armed roles require age 21+.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen where permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and the public at a utilities location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, perimeter areas, and critical infrastructure to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following post orders.
• Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation; communicate information to leadership and site representatives.
