Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Transit Platform in Englewood, CO to protect transit facilities and people. You will patrol, deter incidents, respond calmly to emergencies, and document activities for leadership review.

The role requires 3+ years in security or related fields, armed credentials, and strong customer service. A background check and drug screening apply; the position is full-time with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience.
• At least one year of armed security experience.
• Armed Guard Card or license.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law / employer.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel while following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies, notifying transit personnel and agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of stations and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain proficiency with equipment and follow laws and policies for firearms handling.
• Prepare clear incident reports and share information with leadership and site contacts.
