Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for transit platforms in Englewood, Colorado. The role involves protecting passengers, visitors, and staff, and applying site-specific security procedures and emergency response protocols.

You will patrol stations and surrounding areas, respond to incidents calmly, document activities clearly, and maintain proficiency with security equipment while adhering to laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or a college degree.
• 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Armed Guard card/license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify transit personnel and agencies as needed.
• Conduct armed patrols of stations, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Prepare clear activity and incident reports and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
