Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer - Transit Patrol in Denver, CO. The role involves patrolling transit facilities, ensuring safety, assisting passengers and staff, and coordinating with responders as needed.

You will work a full-time schedule with day and night shifts, earning a $25.00 per hour pay rate. The position requires security credentials, 3+ years of related experience or a military/law enforcement background, and adherence to background checks and drug screening

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transit passengers, visitors, employees, and stakeholders while following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeters to identify and report hazards.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and other critical situations calmly and coordinate with transit personnel or emergency responders.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and help maintain orderly movement at transit locations.
• Prepare accurate patrol and incident reports and maintain documentation per site procedures.
