Job summary

Security Engineers, Inc. is seeking an Armed Site Supervisor for 1st shift in Birmingham, AL to oversee daily security operations, supervise officers, and ensure safety of personnel and assets. This role serves as the primary client contact and enforces policies at the site.

Job includes supervision, incident response, and coordination with the branch manager. Must maintain firearms credentials and pass required training; competitive wages offered.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain an Armed State Security License
• Valid driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company-approved driver standards
• 21 years of age or older
• Must pass Armed training and possess a valid pistol permit

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine walking patrols to identify and address security risks
• Monitor access points and verify credentials
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies according to protocol
• Enforce Security Post Instructions, company, and client policies
• Lock/unlock facilities, operate security systems, and monitor surveillance
• Address policy violations (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)
• Maintain accurate activity and incident logs
• Communicate effectively with officers, clients, and management
• Maintain a professional appearance in a clean, pressed uniform
• Provide guidance and directions to security officers
• Ensure adherence to security procedures and customer service standards
• Assist with scheduling and shift coverage as needed
• Serve as primary contact for client issues and escalations
• Review incident reports for accuracy and completeness
• Support onboarding and training of new personnel
