Job summary

Security Engineers, Inc. seeks an Armed Shift Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Montgomery, AL. You will lead security operations, patrol high-risk areas, monitor access control, and coordinate with local authorities to protect people and property.

The role requires armed training, valid pistol permit, and a state security license. You will report to the Branch Manager and work weekends with a competitive hourly wage and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain a valid State Security License.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must complete armed training and maintain a valid pistol permit.
• Valid driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular patrols to enhance safety and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify IDs and credentials.
• Enforce procedures per Security Post Instructions.
• Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol.
• Maintain accurate logs of activities and observations.
• Execute routine tasks: locking/unlocking doors, managing security systems, and monitoring surveillance.
• Assist visitors and employees, addressing concerns professionally.
• Enforce SEI and Client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking).
• Maintain a clean, pressed uniform and professional appearance.
• Handle weekends and high-stress environments.
