Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Licensed Senior Security Officer at Samaritan Hospital for part‑time night shifts. Under the direction of the Lead Security Officer, you will provide armed, uniformed security presence across SPHP campuses and respond to incidents to protect staff, patients, visitors and others on site.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, valid NYS Driver’s License, an unexpired NYS Armed Security Guard license, and five years of armed security or healthcare/law

Qualifications

• Five years armed security or healthcare/law enforcement experience.
• Active NYS Armed Security Guard license required.
• Knowledge of NY Penal Law and private security best practices.
• Ability to work night shifts and respond promptly to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed, uniformed security across SPHP campuses.
• Assess threats and respond to incidents to protect staff, patients, visitors and others on site.
• Coordinate with law enforcement as needed based on threat assessment.
• Carry out duties and reporting under Lead Security Officer supervision.
