St. Peter's Health Partners in New York is seeking a Licensed Sr. Security Officer for Samaritan Hospital on FT Nights.

Under the direction of the Lead Security Officer, you will provide armed, uniformed security across SPHP campuses, assess threats, respond to incidents, and coordinate with law enforcement as needed. Requirements include a High School Diploma, valid NYS Driver's License, unexpired NYS Armed Security Guard license with firearms training, and at least five years of armed security

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• NYS Armed Security Guard license with firearms training.
• Minimum 5 years armed security experience, healthcare security preferred.
• Active police officer certification; must obtain NYS Armed Security Guard license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed, uniformed security across SPHP campuses.
• Assess threats and respond to incidents to protect staff, patients and visitors.
• Coordinate with law enforcement based on threat assessment.
• Take on additional shifts at SPHP acute care facilities as needed.
