Job summary

Allied Universal in Orlando, FL is seeking an Armed Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality security services on a specific shift at a client site.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, crisis-management, and leadership skills, have a high school diploma, be 21+, pass background and drug screening, and be able to work in varied environments while coordinating with account managers.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrate effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required.
• Pass background investigation and a drug screen.
• Display exceptional customer service and ability to use wireless technology.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Communicate staffing needs on shift to management.
• Assist with training and development of officers.
• Maintain safety programs and inventories for site assets.
• Stand or walk for extended periods; lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate security staff on the assigned shift.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager, and officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within policy.
• Administer JSA's and safety programs for site hazards.
• Assist Account/Operations Manager with uniforms, equipment, and vehicles.
