Qualifications

• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out security procedures at a government location.
• Screen individuals and items entering the facility using established procedures and equipment.
• Verify identifications and direct individuals to appropriate access points.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, or security concerns in a calm, professional manner and notify relevant personnel.
• Document screening activity and patrol assigned areas and perimeter as directed.
