Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Entry Screening in Miami, FL. You will screen visitors and belongings, verify access, and provide courteous customer service at a government location. The role supports daily operations with professionalism and teamwork.

The position offers flexible day-time schedules with evening shifts and a competitive hourly pay rate of $22.53. Minimum requirements include a HS diploma and background check, with licensing and drug-screen as applicable

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required under applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by carrying out screening procedures and policies at a government location.
• Screen individuals and belongings using screening equipment and report prohibited items per site protocols.
• Verify access credentials and direct visitors to entry points while maintaining professionalism.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document activities as required.
• Conduct patrols of screening areas, entrances, and perimeter to identify irregular conditions.
