As an Armed Screener with Allied Universal at a government location, you will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by screening individuals and belongings, monitoring access points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and support a visible presence that helps deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen individuals, visitors, and permitted items entering the facility using established screening procedures and equipment.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for entry in accordance with site requirements, and direct individuals to appropriate access points.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, prohibited-item findings, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Document screening activity, incidents, and irregularities accurately, and conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter when directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Possess a college degree.
• Possess a Corrections Officer License.
• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
