Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Patrol Driver Protection in Austin, TX to safeguard clients across retail environments and deter incidents with a visible presence.

You will perform routine armed patrols, provide customer service, monitor access points, and respond to emergencies per established protocols, while maintaining professionalism, integrity, and compliance with licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years combined law enforcement, corrections, or military OR 5+ years armed security experience.
• Valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by employment laws.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide security and customer service at a retail grocery location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events calmly following protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the store, parking areas, loading docks, exterior perimeter, and other areas.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious activity or hazards to management.
• Complete required reports and communicate information to store management, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership.
