Job summary

Allied Universal in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver to serve government locations and other facilities. You will conduct routine armed patrols, deter incidents, and maintain a professional presence while delivering excellent customer service.

This full-time role requires a valid driver's license, an armed guard card, and the ability to work the Tue/Wed/Thu afternoon-evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license in the state where the job is located.
• At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, or a college degree.
• Armed guard card or license.
• State, county, or city security license preferred.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements vary by jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and employees while following site procedures.
• Conduct armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeters.
• Monitor restricted areas, verify credentials, report suspicious activities.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner with responders.
• Prepare patrol and incident reports and maintain equipment.
