Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Patrol Driver Associate Degree professional in Miami, FL. The role involves protecting government facilities, conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and delivering professional customer service.

The position is full-time with a minimum of 30 hours per week. The salary is paid at approximately $22.26 per hour, and scheduling will be determined during onboarding and training with the manager’s input.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• Possess a DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy or corrections academy certificate.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and public by carrying out security procedures and emergencies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeters.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, document visitor activity and incidents.
• Maintain awareness of local conditions and communicate with site personnel and leadership.
